Hello Margo, (not Georgia!)
The name Xourafis is familiar. I have passed through Levidi on the way to nearby villages where my parents were born, and have cousins who taught school in Levidi. Also, my fathers first cousin Sophia was married to a Xourafis...I will inquire about any relation to your grandparents and write you in California.
My niece and I have been trying for years to unravel our family tree as we have branches in Levidi and nearby Vlaherna and Paleopyrgos.
We continue to find it fascinating and exciting.
