I have seen your post in the levidi.com site and I decided to send you a message.
I was born and raised in Vlaherna, a village next to Levidi. I went to Junior High and Senior High School in Levidi and I have excellent memories.
I know several (not too many though) people from Levidi through various activities that we have there.
Although I know that there are several Koustas's in Levidi, unfortunatelly, I have not met any of them.
I presume that probably you are related to at least one of those families.
I must tell you, that I have lived in the U.S. for several years.
In fact, I studied at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and, therefore,
I consider myself to be quite familiar with the Midwest (:-o)))) ).
Although I have passed by Geneseo several times (on my way from Iowa City to Chicago and back), unfortunately,
I have not had the chance to stay there on know someone from there.
Now, I live and work in Athens, Greece. However, I visit Vlaherna and Levidi frequently (at least twice a month).
I must tell you that I am impressed about how frequently you have been able to visit Levidi!!!
We really appreciate your good words about the birth place of your parents.
